Why Can't Tuesday=Friday?

I just wanted to let you know one little thing I did that changed my life seriously. I know that not everyone has job flexibility so this would not work for you if you are such a person. But for anyone who does have more flexibility in changing your work hours, hopefully you will find this tip helpful. I take a mid-week weekend. By that, I mean that usually by Wednesday I was dragging and weekends seemed so busy with errands and housework and not enough time for FUN, RELAXATION and SHOPPING. So I was able to work it out that I now have Wednesdays off. Completely free. I'm able to work a little longer the other 4 workdays to make up for it so I can still work full time but have that midweek break. I usually use it to do all my errands since most places are less crowded during the week. It leaves more time for me to enjoy my weekend and I am a much happier, less-stressed chick. It was one of the best moves I ever made. So, you know what that means? Today is Tuesday, which is kind of like my Friday. TGIT everyone!

Martini Monday-Candy Apple Martini

Candy Apple Martini Recipe

A sour apple sweetened with cherry.

2 oz. Dark rum½ oz.

Sour apple liqueur½ oz.

Cherry Heering½ oz.

Lemon juice
Pour rum, liqueurs and juice into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir to chill. Strain into your Swank Martini Glass and garnish.
